The hero bans or hero pool system in Overwatch went through massive growing pains in only a couple of months. Yesterday, Molly, the community manager for Blizzard came out and said hero bans are going to be removed at all levels of play, and have no set return date. Now only the Overwatch league will see hero bans. Today, I wanted to talk about those growing pains we saw, and if hero bans was a mistake to bring in Competitive!
